What's Happening Just Now...

Prayer Walk

Building on a project to pray for Faifley whilst walking through it in 2007 we are going to pray for Clydebank. But we won't do our praying in the comfort of our Church nor in the huddle of a prayer meeting. We are going to walk into every street of the town and pray in it. Maybe not for long and not always for the same things. But prayers will be said by small groups in the town, from Bowling to Whitecrook and from Dalmuir to Duntocher.

If you want to know the details of the project try the following website that decribes the project www.prayerwalkers.co.uk

Earlier This Year...

Easter in Faifley

The most inportant time of the year for our focus on what the Gospel is all about is the focus for a lot of our energy. This year Easter means the Passion Play, "Walk With the Cross". The modest production is being perfomred twice in public at the community centre in Faifley, Skypoint.

The script touches on scenes used in the traditional Stations of the Cross. But as you might expect they come with a twist that reflects where they are being performed.

Without giving the whole game away I'll just give you a clue; the Last Supper that starts the drama takes place in the Cafe. So what might take place in Choice's Market Garden?

Come and see for yourself on the 8th and 10th April at 2pm in Skypoint.

St Andrew'sDay

On the Home page you can see photos of a Saltire and a group of Kilties. We wrote prayers for Scotland on the ribbons before laying them on the Communion Table as a Saltire.

Next they were tied into bows as decorations for the Church Christmas tree. There they will take our prayers for the nation into the New Year.
